SolarHut, LLC started in 2008 when Luke Miller wanted to turn his environmental passion into a business. He had worked for one of Sacramento's oldest solar contractors for many years and decided to start his own business.
His first SolarHut installation was at the height of the recession. SolarHut turned from a 2 man crew to over 8 individuals with desire to keep it small and stable.
SolarHut is a family owned and operated company.

LUKE MILLER
OWNER
Luke is the founder and owner of SolarHut, LLC, and a leading expert in residential solar with over two decades of experience in the residential solar industry, he founded SolarHut with a mission to bring affordable, high-quality, and reliable solar to homes across Northern California.
MEGHAN STIMMLER
SALES MANAGER
Meghan has been at SolarHut for over 8 years. She's contributed her gifts over the years with past job titles such as receptionist, accounts payable/receivables, and bookkeeper. With a degree in Environment Management from Sacramento State University, she joined us straight after college.

in the industry and has been with SolarHut since 2012. He has helped shaped who SolarHut represents with precision, expertise, and enthusiasm. He enjoys playing music, being outdoors and spending time with his family.

RICH STUART
SOLAR INSTALLER
Is a NABCEP Certified PV Installation Professional with over ten years’ experience in the industry. Originally from Long Island, Rich started his solar career in sunny San Diego, working on residential, commercial and government installs. When life (and his future wife) took him to Washington, D.C., he added historic row houses and net-zero energy buildings to his installation portfolio. Rich joined SolarHut immediately upon his welcomed move back to the West Coast in 2015 and is proud to call El Dorado and surrounding counties home. Rich enjoys all things sports, listening to real hip-hop and country music, and soaking up the sun with friends and family.

CERTIFIED INSTALLER
Has been with SolarHut since 2014, Level 1 Certified Solar Installer by SunPower. Has a background in plastering, real estate and taxes. He enjoys gardening, traveling and long walks on the beach.
SPENCER WULFERT
CERTIFIED INSTALLER
Is a Level 1 Certified Solar Installer by SunPower, trained and certified by LG Chem Battery. Has been with SolarHut since 2019. Musician and music lover. Likes to work on all things mechanical.

CERTIFIED SALES
Is a licensed Home Improvement Sales Professional at SolarHut. As a Business Finance Graduate from CSU Sacramento, he excels at helping clients combine financial savings with renewable energy solutions. Christian loves the outdoors and is inspired by his new grandson to help protect the planet by reducing our carbon footprint for future generations
